Two Large Chain Stores are Giving Away Antibiotics at Their Pharmacies

Publix supermarkets and Meijer department stores are giving away 14-day supplies oral antibiotics to any customer with a prescription. These free antibiotics are available regardless of the patient's insurance status.

Both chains offer the following antibiotics:

  • Amoxicillin
  • Ampicillin
  • Cephalexin
  • Ciprofloxacin
  • Erythromycin (excluding Ery-Tab)
  • Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP)
  • Penicillin VK
