NeedyMeds Forums

Patient Advocates,

News Alert!!

If you haven't already joined, NeedyMeds.com now has an online forum for patient advocates. The forum is called "NeedyMeds Forums." Once you register and are confirmed by one of our administrators, you'll be able to participate in online conversations with colleagues around the country about patient advocacy topics that are important to you and how you help the underserved. If you don't see a topic of interest, you can start one.

We hope the Forums will be an online place where, regardless of your location in the country or your position in your organization, you can share ideas, inform each other (and Needymeds) on programs, and support each other in the very important work that you do.

NeedyMeds Forums is open only to patient advocates - those who work or volunteer for an organization or company (any patient advocacy group, hospital, clinic, church, pharma company, etc.). This forum is not for patients or other individuals.

If you are as excited about this new feature of NeedyMeds as we are and would like to join, click here to get started: http://forums.needymeds.com/

Registration is simple:

  1. Go to http://forums.needymeds.com
  2. Click on "Register" box at the top left of the page (next to the "login" box)
  3. Click on "I agree to these terms"
  4. Enter a username, email address, confirm email address, password, organization and title.
  5. If everything is entered correctly, you will receive a message that says: "Your account has been created. However, this board requires account activation by the administrator group. An e-mail has been sent to them and you will be informed when your account has been activated."

Once you have registered, the Forums administrator will review your registration and activate your account. Usually your account will be activated by the end of the work day, but please allow 1-2 days. You will receive two emails: the first confirms your registration but states your account is not yet activated. The second email that says your account has been activated.

As always, we love to hear from our users. If you have problems or questions about the Forums or any other aspect of NeedyMeds, let me know.

Thanks,
Vikki
